Your role as an EPLAN Engineer 

As an EPLAN Engineer, you are responsible for designing, developing, and managing electrical diagrams and drawings within industrial and infrastructure projects. You will work with EPLAN Electric P8 and ensure a correct and efficient translation of technical requirements into executable diagrams and project documentation. 

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Creating, modifying, and managing electrical and panel diagrams in EPLAN. 
  • Translating functional designs and technical specifications into detailed designs. 
  • Preparing bills of materials, cable lists, terminal lists, and other project documentation. 
  • Designing panels, control cabinets, and cabling layouts. 
  • Verifying designs for technical accuracy, standards, and regulations (e.g. IEC, AREI). 
  • Working closely with project engineers, planners, and technicians to ensure smooth execution. 
  • Supporting the standardization and optimization of EPLAN macros and libraries. 
  • Actively contributing to the continuous improvement of design processes. 

Your profile

We are looking for a proactive and solution-oriented engineer who enjoys working in a multidisciplinary team.

You recognize yourself in the following: 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field such as Electromechanics, Electrical Engineering, or Automation (equivalent experience also considered). 
  • Initial work experience in a relevant role, preferably within the industrial sector. 
  • Experience with EPLAN Electric P8 (experience with Pro Panel is a plus). 
  • Solid knowledge of electrical standards and regulations. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, both technically and organizationally. 
  • Accurate, structured, and detail-oriented. 
  • Solution-oriented, with excellent communication skills in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
